I have been contemplating a blog for some time now. I have decided that now is the time! Why now? I have SO many new adventures as a work from home mom. As a lot of you other mothers know, some days, you would kill for a little adult interaction. There are days that I pity the mail man if he has to come to my door because when you are in the house with a 4 year old all day, you will talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING!!!
A little background on me...
I worked in corporate America for almost 12 years. My whole career was spent working for promotion, traveling, you know how it is. My oldest daughter, Chloe is about to turn 13, so I felt like I missed a lot of stuff, even though I was a highly active mother. It just makes for a hectic life. Don't get me wrong, I loved my job and I was good at it, but I wanted to be able to do more with and for my kids and husband!
Through lots of life changing events, I am now at home full time. I have recently started a work from home career that I enjoy, and I spend the majority of my time with the family.
While I truly enjoy being a work from home mom and all of the rewards that come from that, I am a very social person! That is why I have made social media such a big part of my day now. I feel like there are some great ideas and things that I learn on a day-today basis that I can share with the world, and most importantly, other moms that find themselves in the same position as I am.
